There were 41 members in the North East Area before it was split into two areas.
At the 2003
AGM (November 2003) two members volunteered to take on the role
of co-ordinators for this area following the resignation of their predecessor.
They have chosen to split the area into a new North East Region and the East
Midlands Region.
These two regions will be established over the next few months. For the present
details are:
| North East Region | ||
| This North East region will be the Tidal Trent from Torksey to Trent Falls, the River Humber, the Yorkshire Ouse and basically all waterways north of Torksey including the Calder and Hebble Navigation and the Leeds Liverpool canal to Foulridge tunnel. As at July 2004 the North East Region had 35 members | ||
